Responsible Tourism Practices
At Argentina Ground Operators, we believe that travel should not only inspire the traveler but also protect and nourish the destination. As a local Argentina DMC, we are deeply committed to responsible tourism practices that minimize our environmental footprint and maximize the positive impact on our local communities.

Our sustainability strategy is built on four core pillars:
1. Supporting Local Economies
We prioritize working with small, locally-owned providers—from boutique family-run hotels to independent mountain guides and traditional artisans. By keeping the economic benefits of tourism within the communities we visit, we help preserve the authentic culture of Argentina.
2. Plastic-Free & Waste Reduction
We are actively working to eliminate single-use plastics from our operations.
-
We encourage our guests to use reusable water bottles and provide refilling stations whenever possible.
-
We prioritize digital documentation (white-label e-itineraries) to reduce paper waste throughout the booking and travel process.
3. Conservation & Leave No Trace
As members of the Adventure Travel Trade Association (ATTA), we strictly follow "Leave No Trace" principles in all our outdoor and adventure programs, particularly in fragile ecosystems like Patagonia and the Iberá Wetlands. We ensure our groups are small and low-impact to protect our natural heritage for future generations.
4. Women in Travel & Social Equity
As part of the Women Travel Leaders network, we promote gender equity within the tourism value chain. We actively seek out women-led businesses and community projects to include in our curated experiences, ensuring diverse voices are heard and supported.
